Prizewinners of the latest Schools Bible Project were invited to Parliament in December to claim their prizes. These were presented by Baroness Cox, a Trustee of the Christian Projects venture. First prizewinner was  Lorna Sandison from Bourne Grammar School in Lincolnshire, with Bethany Tilston from Dr Challoner’s High School in Buckinghamshire second, Jacob Yaxley from St Alban’s Catholic High School in Ipswich third, and two joint fourth prizewinners: Josephine Tibby from Highclare School, Erdington, and Hannah Blythe from Dr Challoner’s High School.

They had gained prizes by writing essays in the 2006 Project, which invited them to study the life of Jesus Christ, and to imagine themselves present at one of the great events described in the New Testament.
