What is the Schools Bible Project?
The Schools Bible Project is a Religious Education project for school students. It has now been running for over a decade and has been praised as a creative, lively, and interesting way of discovering the life of Jesus Christ.
This project is open to all students at secondary schools in Britain. It offers a £500 cash prize for the school producing the best essay, £250 for 2nd prize, and other cash awards, plus a personal prizes for the pupils, presented in a ceremony at the House of Lords.
Essays are based on selected passages from the Bible and vary from year to year.
